Jane Lynch plays obsessive cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester in Glee
US actress Jane Lynch, who plays cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester in Glee, is to marry her long-term girlfriend.
The star and her partner, psychologist Dr Lara Embry, will reportedly tie the knot in May, after the second series of the hit comedy begins airing in the US. It is not clear where their ceremony will take place.
Lynch, 49, is also known for roles in The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Two And A Half Men.
Embry was successfully involved in a high-profile same-sex custody lawsuit in Florida last year, for which she won the National Centre For Lesbian Rights’ Justice Award.
